Expanding on the hit feature film "Friday Night Lights," this poignant
series centers on the small rural town of Dillon, Texas, where the coveted
state football championship rings are held in the highest regard. Dillon's
promising high school team, its star quarterback, and newly appointed head
coach Eric Taylor feel the mounting pressure of the town's pride and honor
riding on their shoulders as a new football season kicks off.
Coach Eric Taylor faced countless challenges over the course of the first two
seasons, but he isn't the only one juggling responsibilities between family,
work and pressures from the community. In season three, Coach Taylor's wife,
Tami, also has her hands full as Dillon's new high school principal:
managing a shrinking budget, a lack of school supplies, decreased teaching
staff and student issues, as well as a baby and teenage daughter, Julie at home.
