Emergency! had it all—drama, action, realism and a

high-quality, reality-based dramas created by producer
Jack Webb, Emergency! focused on the day-to-day
operations of fictional Station 51. The action is
divided equally between the on-site responses of
Squad 51's intrepid rescue team, and the drama back
at Rampart Hospital, where Dr. Brackett and Nurse
McCall take over. Every imaginable crisis is handled
professionally and dutifully, from a parachutist
stuck in power wires to a kitty stuck in a tree.
